Subject: Think Tank - venue - advisible?

Wow, just been reading the messages on here about GJ3 and it sounds like it was ace. I'd have been there if not for the fact that my band was about to split up and I was therefore spending lots of time in Coventry getting ready for farewell concerts and things. (The same reason applies for why I've not been to Strangeways for ages, although I rather doubt anyone will have missed me because only Jonny knows who I am, and I suspect even then only vaguely).

Anyway. The point of this is this: I'm organising a showcase gig in Leeds for an utterly, utterly excellent London band called The Cling. I said this several months ago, but I mean it this time. Anyway, to do it, I need a venue. I know that Think Tank was used for some Strangeways gigs a couple of years ago (before my time); is it any good as a live venue? Obviously it's nicely located, but how do gigs work there? Is the dancefloor used as the stage? Is the PA any good? Etc.

If it's basically rubbish, can anyone recommend anywhere better?

Mark

PS the Cling are at www.thecling.com and they're very good
