I have never given the pipe to anyone. But to answer your question, I would put it where it's supposed to go, whether indoors or outdoors.

Living in extreme Southern California would put Seal Beach considerably more than 100 miles north of my residence.

Note that there was only one reply. Hmmmmmmmmmm!!!!
