These are my all-time favorite movies, not ones I like right now.
1. Fargo (Absolutely the epitome of movie greatness. Everything seems perfect.)
2. The Godfather/The Godfather II (I find it impossble to seperate these two. However, I like The Godfather more.)
3. O Brother, Where Art Thou? (Another Coen brothers gem. Funny stuff.)
4. Gosford Park (One of the best ensemble casts you will see.)
5. Dr. Strangelove (Very good dialogue and perfomrances)

Honorabe mentions: Any other Coen brothers film (The Big Lebowski, Barton Fink, Blood Simple, Raising Arizona)
Any Stanley Kubrick film (A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, 2001: A Space Odyssey)
American Beauty, Snatch, American Psycho, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs.
I can't think of them all, I feel like I would be cheating a movie that I don't list here. Here's a link to my DVD collection. Ignoring any of the TV shows and Little Nicky and Eyes Wide Shut, those are my favorite movies.
