Subject: slow........

i have noticed as of late that the forum loads wicked slow. i have come to the hypothesis that it is at least partly because of the fact that all the posts are on the same page. i think it would much help if you (steven) were to archive the posts so that 100 posts wouldn't have to load up all at once. i don't know if that is possible but i think you could maybe at least get rid of some really old posts. just a thought. thank you for your consideration assuming you read this and even think twice about it. I, too, have noticed this. Perhaps the fact that every entry is archived contributes to the slowness.

i have noticed the slowness lately. the individual posts load separately, so i don't think that has anything to do with the overall loading of the forum. my guess is that they are once again upgrading their servers, and thus slow down internet traffic to work on that. however, i will rotate most of the posts to the first archive. maybe this will make a difference. either way, i hope it isn't like this for long. very annoying.

i found out i can't rotate them to a archive with out rotating everything. all the posts would dissapear. so i decided not to. but now it is seeming to go faster, so i guess it isn't needed. problem fixed itself. wonderful.
