Yes, but you sound very dedicated, too! Here is some advice:

1. Practice up against a wall - get as close to the wall in your split as you can.
2. Also, just relax for a while in your split - as far as you can go without bending your knees - and read a good book, or even watch TV. once you get used to that position, tyr and push yourself a little farther into your split.
3. Practice, practice, practice! But don't hurt yourself!!!
