No, I havent had or heard of this problem but I think we have all been taken for a ride on these ele. chairs and at a high cost. I have a 300CS, its uncomfortable (big time), doesnt perform well at all, the seat is non supportive, the back end is uncontrollable, and I have felt disabeled for the first time since 1989 and its because I have a Permobile now. Before I had an Amigo scooter...I would highly recomend. Good luck with Permobile....we are going to need it.
