The premise of "loss of control" and "tunnel vision" is full of possibility, and it could be a very interesting (and fun) paper. What I see here is a glimmer of it, but you need to flesh this out, then hone in, narrow it, and define it clearly. So-- we all know this happens at that moment of blinding desire (loss of control, tunnel vision). Too vauge. This in itself is not a revelation. But go on and figure out what is the most peculiar or crucial or ironic (etc.) aspect of this that you want to uncover.
