Hey, Bubba!

First it's, "How come no debate format?!" Then it's, "Oh, we'll be doing the same thing -- separate interviews." You seem conflicted!

I personally have no desire to moderate a debate. I think debates can be good in the right setting and with the right participants. I don't think we have the right setting or the right moderators to do a debate. Can you see Warren actually steering and controlling a discussion, according to a set of rules, without putting his own two cents in? Are you kidding me?

In answer to a different post, we haven't discussed whether we'll have an opening segment. If we do I'm sure it will be short and each candidate's segment will be 25 minutes or so. If we belay the open, then each candidate's segment will be 29 minutes.

Hey Shaughnessey, the last radio debate I remember was in 1997 and was "moderated" by your boss, Paul Sullivan. The other candidate and I blew through about nine commercial breaks in the middle of what to be the most contentious discussion I've ever been involved with. Not a good idea!
