Maybe you shouldn't dictate if it needs to be called off or not? How does that sound?
Seriously, everyone has their lives to attend to as well. I'm snowed under in college work right now, and it's rare that I can even check this board daily at the moment, let alone try and kickstart anything. Other writers have new jobs, new colleges to deal with.... it's a busy time of year.
There's no serious rush, especially since there's been no consensus on ideas yet. Personally, I'd encourage everyone to spend some time coming up with their own plan of the season. Not anything to specific, just an arc, but write everything down. In a few weeks, I'll set up a thread where everyone can post a nice, coherent story idea, and we can discuss them then.
Can you just be a little more patient please? :-)

Seriously though, I think everyone gets that everyone is busy. Don't think that it means anyone is giving up. Fanfic's way too addictive for that. Just give it time.
Although I do think you should arrange a time to have a thread to decide where you're going. Once you have an idea where to start, you're all going to find it much easier to schedule this.
