74-0 sounds a little one sided, it was But! the side that was put together was prepared to play a development side, not a side bristling with Internationals and House hold names. I personally was proud of the way the lads who came in responded. The dressing room afterwards was full of" You wait til I get back to Uni and tell my mates who I played against last night" 2 Warwick Uni lads-2 Old Covents-5 Nuns- 6 Trialists and various others WELL DONE ALL The new scrum half looked good and was my MOM Although crofty did play well.

How did 'Mad Dog' Nicholls do? (There's no point me asking him - I know what the answer would be!!!).
Likewise, 'Big Andy' Lewis (I'd probably get a more accurate answer from him at least). ;)

The lads did play well and kept going right until the end. But they had no chance from the start, at one point it looked like northamptons half back combination was going to be Dawson and Grayson!!! luckily dawson didnt come on, but grayson played all the 2nd half at no10.

andy lewis didnt see anyting of the ball and his opposite number was john sleightholme! Not really a fair night to judge him on really, but he didnt shame himself.
