Did anyone waste their hard earned money going down to London Welsh yesterday?
I should have put the money in the bin instead. It was an absolute shambles.Apart from the odd flurry of reasonable moves and the superb display of Rugby from Julian Horrabin Coventry looked out of place at that level of Rugby. And I would put money on Barker Butts beating Covenrty on present form.
I dont know whats gone wrong, but clearly something is seriously wrong.
The support was very thin on the ground yesterday,a lot of regular away supporters have stopped going to away games and if things dont improve there will even more.I saw some of our supporters leaving early and that I have'nt seen before.I myself left the pitch side and went up to the club house early.I had seen enough.London Welsh supporters laughing at Coventry, that is awful.
It cost me about £80-00 for yesterday. Now I dont mind spending that money to watch my favourite team,I dont mind standing on soaking wet mud,I dont mind stading in pouring rain and I dont mind being freezing cold and I dont mind travelling thousands of miles a year to follow Cov.
I do this as others do and all we want in return is for The Boys to do the best they can."Fair exchange is no robbery" Yesterday as with the last few weeks was just straighforward theft.
Cov you have got to sort out these problems because if you dont you will loose supporters by the score and it goes without saying,No support no money.
Come on Cov................

Echo some of that Ron (but the Barkers reference is clearly the result of intake of Jamaican Old Holborn or something equally effective ;)). I sometimes wonder why we do it too - but then you see the efforts of lads like Julian, Herm, Aggie and Lee who clearly wanted it as much as ever and you realise that you can't just abandon all hope.
The mood on the bus last night was probably the worst I can remember, and wasn't helped by people looking over at the players' bus in the car park and seeing the players ripping into the cans of lager. As some notable supporters (who shalll remain nameless to protect the less-than-innocent) very vocally pointed out, the paying fans deserved it more than the team! At least Aggie snr was in a good mood, helped by three very generously-proportioned Gaelic coffees (and a fair drop of 'welsh' ale). Somehow we managed to stop him breaking out in an Elvis karaoke concert thankfully!!

I have great faith in 'the management' to turn this round in the fullness of time. We undoubtedly have a great set of players, but for whatever reason at the moment they are punching well below their weight. Clearly, something has to be done.
Does 'the management' have the nous to know it - and do it??
