COVENTRY are holding a testimonial dinner for Julian Horrobin at Coundon Road on Thursday, April 10 to mark the Forest of Dean-based back row forward’s ten years in the first team. The dinner will be the club’s first in honour of a player, and table and individual ticket bookings can be made to the club (£25 each, dinner jacket). I can only add that this is a richly-deserved honour for one of the finest servants the club has had in recent decades. Enjoy the evening Julian. I think his dad does deserve a mention though he comes up with him every game and supports him. He is a great bloke i know where Julian gets it from.
