I have it on very good authority that Cov have lost out to Nuneaton in the race to sign Darren Garforth.

I understand that B & S were also after him.

Garforth signed last week for the Nuns (I think). It has been all over the papers. I didn't realise Cov were after him, I knew about B&S.

PS: what does IMHO mean???

That was the info I got last week too (and it was in the Birmingham Post the next day so it must be true ;).
I'm sure he'll do a fine job for Nuns, but I reckon his lack of pace around the paddock wouldn't have enhanced Cov's forward play at Div 1 level. He looks like he's dragging a bundle of scaffold poles around with him these days.
Now if Rowntree was available....
