I think it is about time we got serious about winning the Miss America competition and look at what it takes. I know we all love our favorite contestant...but facts are facts. We need a brilliant, articulate, vocalist with a solid platform to have a chance at Miss America. Look at the past 14 years. The only non-vocalist to win where the best pianist in the nation and Duke scholar, Heather Whitestone dancing and a Hawaiian dance (which for some reason is loved at Miss America). So my advice is to get out those hula skirts or win a national instrument competition or learn to sing. Then make sure your grades are tops and work hard to make a difference in the world.

History does repeat it's self.
