But lets face it she was barely 18. She really did do a good job for a young lady her age. She was sweet and genuine. She also had the talent and the brains she just got a little giggly on occasion. My favorite would be Jeanna Raney. She spoke well, was gracious, and talented. After her presentation of the lion earrings to Joey at last years Miss SC Breakfast no one could doubt how close to her heart her platform was (and I'm sure still is). If there was a dry eye in the room as she spoke of her mother collecting lions, I can assure you that there was no heart attached to those eyes. She said it was something she rarely spoke of and you could see the heartbreak in her eyes. She won my respect and admiration. I wish her the very best.
