Announcing The PageantDiva Day!
This year we follow the momentum of a very successful PageantDiva day in Orlando last year we announce TWO PageantDiva days this year for Miss Competitors.
The first is in South Florida at The Hollywood Production Center on April 12th with seminars starting at 10:00am and a special Talent Competition at 2:00pm. Seminars include Interview preparation the Miss USA way; How to Seek Sponsorships; Pageant Fitness and Nutrition with Barbara Colby; A Miss Florida USA Week Video Presentation & Make-Up for Television and Competition with Arpeggio Make-Up, the official make-up of Miss USA & Universe. This session will also feature a trunk show with evening gown’s, swimsuits & other fun pageant stuff up for sale and raffle.
DON SEIDMAN
Don Seidman, official photographer of Miss USA, Teen USA & Universe, is offering pageant headshots for your competition portfolio! For the price of $100.00 (normally in the neighborhood of $300.00) Mr. Seidman will provide 8”x10” print and complete negatives. The hours of availability are 10:00am – 2:00pm. ARPEGGIO MAKE-UP
Arpeggio Make-Up, the official make-up of Miss USA & Miss Universe, will be on hand for an exciting seminar and consultations. They will also be bringing goodies for all attendees of their seminar. For an additional $50.00 (or this amount in cosmetic purchases) the Arpeggio Make-Up artists will provide make-up for your headshots. Also participating; Regalia Gowns, Pageantry Magazine, The Queen of Everything and PageantDiva.
DON BAKER SEMINARS
Acclaimed Interview Coach Don Baker will be amongst the guest speakers of our first of two days of seminars and pageant fun. The success of Don Baker's clients in the Miss America, Miss USA®, Miss Teen USA® as well as many other pageant systems is well documented.
Four of his former clients went on to win the title of Miss USA® and three became Miss America. In addition to many other national titles his clients have won, one went on to become Miss Teen USA® and one became Mrs. America. Just under 40 percent of the Top 10 at Miss America, Miss USA® and Miss Teen USA® over the last six years have been clients of Don Baker.
Mr. Baker will give a free seminar to give you insight into the interview competition at 10:30am. He is also offering interview seminars for $30.00 per session or 2 sessions for $50.00 where he will work to prepare you for your pageant interview competition. The morning sessions will cover the interview basics, the afternoon sessions will expand on the morning’s topics and work more one on one with the attendees. This seminar is open for contestants of all pageant systems.
These seminars are scheduled for 11:00am and 11:45am for Session I and 2:00pm & 2:45pm for Session II. Mr. Baker will also be available for one-on-one seminars after the seminars. If you have competed and want to sell those clothes that would be great for this years contestants on a budget then come on out. Prize & Goodie Giveaways
We are still collecting good stuff to raffle off as door prizes as well as goodie bags. So far we have Pageantry Magazines for everybody. Arpeggio Make-Up will have giveaways, don’t miss the Arpeggio Seminar at 11:00am to give you make-up tips and answer your questions. PageantDiva tapes will be raffled as well as cosmetics, accessories and the grand prize of a VIP ticket and Coronation Ball Invitation to Miss Florida USA 2004.

PageantDiva Miss Florida USA Day in Orlando
May 24th in Downtown Orlando at Regalia Fine Apparel from 10:00 – 2:30pm will be our Miss Florida USA Day, Part Two. At this event we will unveil our Schedule for pageant week and present more seminars to help you prepare for this years competition. Seminars will include “Selecting the Perfect Evening Gown”; “Secrets of a Televised Pageant”; “Memories of the Title from Carrie Mewha, Miss Florida USA 2004”; “Final Preparations for State” and off course we will be raffling prizes and free Pageantry Magazines for everybody! Also Regalia is offering a10% discount for registered contestants in this year pageant that day. Look for more updates in the next few weeks.
