In the pen Shane does his best to do what he thinks is waking Shadow up, quivvering, muttering to her all the time. "Shadow, how could you let them take you! Oh, this is bad, bad. What were you doing in these woods....? What was I doing in them? Give me a city any day!" Shadow, juding it's save, whispers out the corner of her mouth. The fox glares at Azure and Shogga, then strides off, calling back to Sankin. "Relax where you like, but keep from the cooking tents and no nicking off with my slaves or warriors." In the pen, Shadow gives Shane a quick briefing in their own language on all that's happen, explaining the fact that Sankin, Shogga and Azure are there to help and that she still carries all her wepons, plus the dagger she thought looked too happy in Sankin's belt.
