Subject: new puppy help feeding question

Hi
just bought a jack Russell all white female tan ears one full tan one half tan no other markings. she is a nice dog my husband wanted one for a long time. she is 9 weeks old i got her from a pet store here in mass. feeding how often and how long to leave down for her and water also all day or what do u all think. do not want to starve her or make her thirsty, what should i do. i been leaving her cup of food dry all day 9-5pm and water, and walking her often and praises etc. she goes to work with me driving at night she gets sips of water on the road and no food till next day is this ok or any better ideas...
