I recently sent out a mass email letter that accidently showed the recipient list. I made a mistake and want appologize and explain so you'll know how it happened.

I was asked by Laurel and Saniel if I would send Saniel's Transfiguration Gold Retreat letter to the Waking Down Weekend graduates (prerequisite for the retreat) from the Temple database I help out with. I had some trouble doing this. When I finally got the letter out, It was from a motel in Colorado while I was doing the Meeting and Being met event. Before I left for Colorado, I was unsuccessful in extracting and transferring the email list to Eudora (the email app. I use). I was so frustrated in the timing and trouble I was having that when I finally (late at night!) got the addresses transferred I did not double check that one rather big little thing about cc vs. bcc. I was aware right after I sent the mass email that I made a mistake in not placing the recipient list as bcc. Damn!

Really embarrassing! I do know better, too!

I want you to know I share Saniel's concern for the privacy of personal information and I am sorry I made this mistake.

p.s. I also heard some people were dissapointed they did not get the letter that should have. Sorry about that, too. There will be the real snail mailing to all the WDW grads soon.
