Dear Heart, bless you and thank you for speaking this here. please, as well as you can, know that you are not alone. Your anger is one of the great cries that humanity is shrieking right now and it is not wrong. that you are able to hold this anger and simultaneously realize that those at whom you, in some part of you, want to strike out are not at fault and also deserving of your compassion, this is a great yoga. You are serving all of us by processing these feelings with so much care and attention.
Yes, i agree, the idea of global mutuality is an idealistic dream, it seems too far from what is possible right now to bear. for me, it is a dream i have to keep holding so that we may just possibly take some baby steps in that direction.
Before we can really hold others we have to learn to hold ourselves -- or maybe we learn both at the same time -- anyway, it seems to me that they are interdependent. You are doing this. that is a magnificent contribution. I hear how much you are hurting, Dave. There is nothing i can do to ease your pain except to tell you that i feel as much of it as i can with you, and honor your struggle to stay in integrity with yourSelf and with Others. And, though it's no comfort at all, i do know that when we persist through these hellish places we do emerge stronger and more deeply at peace. i am glad your speaking was healing for you, and please do speak here as much as you need to. You are not alone. love, Kyla
