Hi Ben and Kyla i feel like daring to blast into this conversation with how it affects me. I am thinking of what Holly once told me that she looks for when comparing Saniel's teaching with others. The first point was "does it self-divide? does it Self-divide" What you are saying Ben sounds to me very (S)self-divided. The statement you made "it is only when the mind stops jabbering that it can observe the ground of Being where it resides". I can of course accept this as Ben's teaching but it is not, I think, consistent with The White Hot Way. If it were I never would have awakened! If Holly's help and Saniels dharma hadn't helped me greenlight AS Being, every twist and turn of my mind as it seemed to be an obstacle for me, I never would have Awakened. There is not a single thing that is not wedded to Being. And there is not a single state we might be in, or part of ourselves that is more Being than any other. Our jabbering minds are a perfect manifestation of Being. The fact that you use the word jabbering to refer to the mind, and refer to "the ground of Being" as some place where it resides, is putting one part of yourself against another. Thinking IS already Being. It is not in the way of Being. I get the feeling that it might be possible that you have taken your stand in Transcendental Consciousness and from that point of view are regarding the mind as sort of OK, but limited in its value, and separate in some way from true Being. This, as I understand it not Onlyness. And when you say that Kyla's "diving into the mind to play will never be the same now that she's seen what it's about" This Is saying that the mind is less. This IS (S)self dividing. It is hyper-masculine. I just had to say all this. I hope you also know I love you Ben.
