Deidra I thought hard of you today when I went this evening to visit the Jolly Llama Ranch. This is an incredible place, I was entranced. This couple, Jeff and Joyce, raise llamas, children, neighbors, whole communities and anyone who happens by for a game of volleyball. They bought this llama ranch and they teach the llamas to be "kissey". When the llamas are very young, just born practically, they invite every 2-3 year old child they know over to be with them because they are just the right size to look them in the eye and learn to walk with them and teach them to bond with humans. These llamas are loving creatures. They will come up and kiss you on the face sometimes.

And they have an avairy in the middle of their house with all manner of birds and trumpet vines and a turtle. I went over there with my friend Joan to see if we could have our Waking Down Weekend there in November. They have a large meeting room we could use, and many other rooms and a barn where people could stay overnight. I felt such a heart connection with Jeff as he leisurely showed us all around and loquaciously told us everything that came into his mind. He is some kind of Subud practitioner and has a huge heart for strays of all kinds, mostly unwanted children and teenagers that nobody else will take. Quite the guy, in my heart anyway.

So I thought of you and how much you would love the llamas and the birds and the whole thing. I think Ted and Holly are going to be doing the WDW and I am hoping you could come somehow. It's the first weekend in November. Of course none of this llama ranch decision has been made yet. I just saw it and have to talk now to everyone else. But thinking of you strongly here. Did you feel it?

And oh yes, large honoring bow to Mr. Peaches and his fine coat of fur. How sublimating of you to do this for him. I love it!
