Jeez thank you for explaining this so well. So you've been a downer all along. Have we talked about this before? I remember something along these lines with somebody. (Oh boy).

Before Waking Down I had downer tendencies for sure, but I was also definitely on an escape trajectory. Looking for a way out. The funny thing is that I thought Waking Down WAS the way out. Boy was I in for a suprise. And I would say that I have newly developed a leaning toward Mutualiteness since my 2B. Before that I was a loner by preference and a pleaser when I had to be in the company of others. Never socialized properly as a teenager and still don't know how to do it well. This whole mutuality thing is HARD! As for the up part, I used to always want to get there but was tethered by my fears and terror. Never even got off the ground. Still pretty much there as a matter of fact. Starting to have a few leanings in the direction of up, but nothing solid quite yet.

So there you have the history of my life in case you were interested. If you weren't...

Anyway, so on the addictive part. I take it that our world view as one of these three types IS the addiction we are speaking of here. So how does this look? I don't really feel very stuck in one of these viewpoints anymore. Hey! Maybe I'm starting to integrate. I can definitely see the Waker tendency in many of my non WD friends. There seems to be THIS WHOLE new age sort of AGREEMENT that this is how it JUST is: UP is GOOD, DOWN is BAD. Yes, I see what you mean here about an addictive viewpoint. INTERESTING!!!
