Oh, yeah, I agree boredom is a feeling. The next time I find myself unavoidably bored, I hope I remember to investigate it!

Really! But right now I am enjoying my many addictions too
much.

I'm remembering, and I will have to go back and check, that
Art talked about boredom as a way of avoiding identifying
oneself with the Absolute. (I'm sure I've got this
wrong.....) Something like that. So somehow by being bored I
am not allowing myself to just BE That? I am instead,
underneath the boredom, subtly resisting resting in
Identity?

Art?

Art here.

Consciousness Itself doesn't have qualities.

When I feel bored, I am also feeling a kind of tension
which is an unstated judgement: I'd rather be doing
something else. And you can just keep saying that or you
can conjure up what you'd rather be doing.

And as Ted keeps saying: "And that's ok."

Or you can feel into the boredom.

I wouldn't presume to guess what might be better for anyone
in any given moment.
