Well, I certainly wouldn't sweat it. Today's take on the dynamic is that it's a matter of gradually honing in on the new rhythm of "you" in this matter, of what works and what doesn't work, of what has changed and what hasn't changed, a slowly emerging sense of the flow of this as it relates to Gill. And "fall", I was thinking today, could be other words as well. "Fall" unfortunately connotes "down" which isn't quite right, in the sense of "down" that Saniel speaks of. "Fall" is more like free-fall, as in weightless, floating helplessly in some great unknowable current, allowing oneself to flow along without (or unable to) grasp(ing) at anything to create a position or an allegedly known spot from which to hang out. And the frustration aspect of falling is just the unknowableness of it all, as interpreted by a mind and sentimentalities that are used to operating in a much different mode, the mode of standing in a "known" spot. The "hit" aspect is when it is revealed to you (sometimes painfully) that whatever you thought you were figuring out wasn't it at all. Just when I think I got a bead on the rhythm, well, the beat changes, and here I go again. And again, this is just today's take on the matter.
Don't know if this helps or not, but its a great subject to climb into, since it is in my face everyday.
Love,
Paul
