My name is Michael E. Bemis. My new novel Snow Waste, was just published. I think there's a lot to love about Snow Waste, but most everybody who reads it seems to agree that it's the intriguing characters that take center stage, which surprised me. I thought it would be the plot that got all the attention. It took years of research to get the plot right, while most of the character development was based on my life experience, which really amounts to lots of hobnobbing with the wonderful people who call Maine their home.
