No shit. The rest of aren't wearing rose tinted glasses. He's a little prick.

My own memories of interactions with Luke:

1) Several years ago, when Luke was working at Sunset Cyclery. I bought a $50 Continental tire and threw it on the bike. Went for one single ride on Barryman, and 90% of the knobs ripped off (cornering was pretty iffy near the end of that ride). I took the tire back to Sunset about 3 days after buying it, said it was defective, should probably be sent back to Continental. Luke laughed at me and said it was natural rubber, its supposed to do that, no returns on tires. Made a mail-order customer out of me right then and there.

2) Another previous time I had bought a tire there, and Luke was oddly insistent on putting it on for some reason. So I fetched the bike in off the car, and he threw the tire on. I say 'threw' because I noticed a huge bulge of tube sticking out of the bead as I rolled it out the door.
