This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly. It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the lottery!! Except for the University's recent success with the football program it has failed miserable in all other areas of its atheletic endeavors. When people ask me where I went to school and then fail to recognize the Fordham name or its fine academic reputation I get really pissed. Frankie
McG. must go not only for his failure to effectively administrat over the BBall program, but for his countless other failures including the Mens Soccer team(a complete joke with the exception of recent grad Viskovich)and a baseball team that just can't break through.
Fordham dosen't need Doherty (although it would be nice).
We need a young energetic coach similar to the likes of Bobby G. from Manhattan. We need to invest in talent and get rid of these fossils like the AD and Hill who should be out playing golf somewhere.

I am so relieved that Bob Hill hs gotten fired. It is like a weight lifted off of my shoulders. I know that the Fordham will still not be good next year but at least they wont have to pay half a million for 2 wins. THANK GOD THAT PIG OF A COACH IS GONE!!! Didn't everyone have visions of the Million Dollar Man, Bob Hill, bringing FU to the NCAA tournament when he was announced as the new coach four years ago, or was it just me? Now, here i am, studying abroad this semester, only able to follow the team's abismal season via the Fordham website, and finding myself outraged that Hill can feel comfortable cashing his huge check while producing shit. From the start of the season it was obvious this team was gonna blow. First off, we didn't have Midnight Madness for whatever reason. Second, anybody who was actually good on the team left (thanks to Big Bob) or graduated. This year's team looked like a glorified high school team with a little international flava. None of those guys, save Haynes and Jarrell-Wright, were prepared to play D1 basketball, especially in the A10. Where did Hill dig these guys up? I think Suits from Mugzy's coulda walked on to this team. Now that Hill is gone, let's hope that McLoughlin makes a better selection and picks up Matt Dougherty (who would be a much better fit into the Fordham Family). As for the players who have suggested they may be transferring now that Hill is gone...GET OVER YOURSELVES!!! you guys were members of the Bad News Bears of the NCAA this year and nobody wants you! on second thought, maybe you should go because you ain't done shit while you've been here.

This must be the only case in b-ball history where a coach wins only two games and keeps his job. This is a slight to all people related to Fordham and tarnishes a legacy that took years to build. Right now, Fordham may be the 5th or 6th best team in the MAAC, much less the Atlantic 10. McGloughlin must go, appears to be a strange bedfellow with Hill. The school has the money, pay the guy and chalk it up as a huge mistake and send the McG packing too.
I actually like the team. They play hard but just can't match up. They should have won more games than they did and you can chalk it up to the coach.
Just get it done.

Last month i was at a Fordham bball game and i got kicked out for flipping off the St. Joe's crowd, who was being louder and more into the game than our own home crowd. I proceeded to come back in to the game, in a dusguise, but was thrown out again when the security guard recognized the giant F painted on my chest. Anyway, i got written up for "disorderly conduct" and have to write a 3 page reflective paper. Too bad i was the only real fan at that game, and if we had a real coach, i wouldnt need to do that shit, cuz we would be wionning games, and people would actually get riled up. Fire Bob Hill

If Hill is still at FU next year, all of the dedicated Fordham bball fans must come out in droves to show their disappointment with the horrible mess Hill is making of the FU bball program. We should not attempt to inspire a clash or violence with Hill and his supporters, but we need to be heard. Signs would be a good medium, non-vulgar chanting, etc. we need to show Fordham how betrayed we feel by HIll and his antics. This bball team and program is the laughing stock of the NYC, the A10, and the NCAA. A good point sadram, why was the clash at the St. Joes game not dealt with. things like that are unacceptable. On feb. 8th the st. joes game, a few fordham students who were sick of the Hill/McLaughlin/Gray trio openly protested Coach Bob Hill in particular.
-No other fans really joined in, yet few fans really support Coach Hill.
-A member of the team publicly embarrassed himself, his team and the university by going into the stands to intimidate these fans.
-Members of security and Administration focused their efforts on the chanters, and not on the fans who did get rowdy and physically angry. (pushing, yelling, threatening, maybe hitting).
-This event was not covered in any local papers, while they did cover fans chanting to fire mike jarvis and that was peaceful!
-After that incident no home games have seen any protest.
-What was done with those students?
-WHY are people so reluctant to make a stand against this regime.
-I am not saying that the actions at the st. Joes game were right, but I think people who care as much as we all do about Fordham and Fordham athletics should make a real stand..
Letters TO O'HARE and the ADMINISTRATION can be thrown away and ignored! Not attending games can be explained away, as can less donation money (the economy) VOICES IN PUBLIC CANNOT.

i always thought that fordham strove for excellence in all aspects of its life. how can FU accept this pitiful bball program. if a professor was this bad in the classroom, he/she would be fired! why cant FU realize that it made a huge mistake fix it. they are just going to have to eat the money they "owe" mr. hill. in actuality he should give some of his money and fancy suits back to the school. man, can the jesuits send this guy on some missionary to malaysia or something. maybe send him on a recruiting trip to uzbekistan and forget to book the return flight. fordham athletics is no stranger to messing up travel plans!!
