I am a co-facilitator (student) of several groups for perpetrators of family violence. Our groups are often majority Latino/a, with some African-American and white members. I am looking for suggestions for films to show this group that may be helpful. Some of their issues: their own family history of violence, grief and loss, father-son confict and/or the absent father, substance abuse. I am particularly looking for films with a diverse cast. Smoke Signals was a huge hit with a men's group, so that's what got me started on this. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you very much!
