Subject: Falklands25 part 2

Part two:

SS Canberra (troop ship) and HMS Cardiff Falklands 1982.

Argentine Canberra Bomber (108) photographed fueling just hours before HMS Cardiff shoots it out of the night sky with a Seadart missile. The pilot ejects and survives but the Navigator (Captain Cusado)is killed.

This Boeing 707 aircraft and crew are photographed when they return home to Argentina. Their day was not uneventful as HMS Cardiff fired two Seadart missiles at them at extreme range (30 plus NM at 20,000 plus feet)and the pilot took the aircraft into a suicidal dive to evade...somehow they survived.
