Subject: The Nash

I was at NNS during 1967-9 and was there for the 100th Centenary 1889-1969. I was Drum Major in the schools band, stroke oar's man and active in the sports field. (big deal)

Great guy who I have been trying to get in touch with was called John Hiles he was our rugby teacher and used to play for England at some point in his life I believe!

I have only just found this place AMAZING! I have also started a web site: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nationalnauticalschool/

I am from Plymouth, Devon (but now live in Australia) and was in Benbow, but had many friends in Hood and Ansen!

One of my favourite Officers was Lt.Cdr. Johnson I was told he is still alive and at 93 he is blind :-( He was a strong man that one! Listen guys from 1967-69 or at any other time please pay a visit. There was fun times and sad times, I wish I did not get so many tattoos done there!!!

Anyone remember Three Blind Jelly Fish? hehe
