I think one problem is that we can often take the word of so called experts and say that they must be right. Most of the stuff out there about spirituality is theory, as the people who write about it are writing about personal beliefs, rather than facts that can be wholeheartedly proven. I have done that myself in the past, but I truly believe that I now have the truth through Jesus. That's my personal experience and belief, which I'm not forcing on anyone else.
