Kev, you thank Vince for not misinterpreting paganism for some charlatan belief in a satan by other "dark" religions, yet may I ask you why you said "why does everyone have to go through a priest at church to be able to talk to god, i mean yes they are allowed to pray are they not, but why arnt they allowed to do it themselves???"
Don't you know that a person praying to a preist or confessing to a priest contradicts what Jesus taught? Don't you know that Jesus died on the Cross for ALL OUR SINS so that we might stand righteous and be able to go before God. If you did not understand this simple message I can see why you would ask,"tell me why do you think mary magdelin was taken up by jesus? no i'm not sugesting anything lewd, but surely such a sinfull woman would have found no refuge in the house of "god " if she was so sinful in being a whore, or was she just living". As the Gospels say that she actually wasn't just living but dying for her sins. If she believed so loosely that what she was doing being an adulterer was "just living" then she would have never accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
I'm sorry Kev but it appears that you are judging us by saying that we are the catholic church or some other religious sect and by doing so your mind is already prejudice towards what Christ taught. Actually the romans didn't really want to kill him but the jews influenced the judgement but it doesn't matter WHO killed Him, He was suppossed to be sacrificed for everyones sins to set them free(just as jewish rituals describe). This is how He is their Savior. It's simple, the Gospel is not for the wise of this world but "thru the foolishness of preaching they would be saved". God thru Jesus made it possible for the once whores sluts pimps punks skins drunks adulterers anarchists democrates so on the worst of the world to shame the "Elite". But God is not man. We are made in His image with a body soul and spirit, however it is by God's very breath that we even have a spirit. How can the created say to the Creator how He should make it?
