I don't think the idea is silly. If some one is all loving then their love should be conditional not conditonal if you accept jesus. I tthink that good and evil are balance that if you have something that is all good that automatically makes their evil to some degree. I don't see any reason that an intermediary is needed. The whole idea of original sin doesn't even make sense, why should i have to pay for what some one did at the start of mankind. God made us not perfect and we never will be. God not revealing himself (best term i could think of) cause people don't believe in god doesn't make sense to me. I can say from seeing people in other religons being at peace and ppl like ghandi i can say i think the idea is flawed. There are just way to many flaws. Why should there even have to be a hell for people to suffer, an eye for an eye doesn't work. How can an all loving being even comprehened making a place such as hell? ALthough cause humans are not perfect i don't think that makes us evil. If god loves us we shouldn't have to have some stupid checklist of our sins if we don't believe in jesus. What about people who reger their sins even though they are not christian? IF they truely regert them why should they not be forgiven? Sorry but, ya chrisanity philsophy is totally flawed, you can't have chirsanity be true and god be all loving it is just one big hypocricsy.
