Will try and dig more out on this (I have an intersting article on this subject in one of my files). Can't contribute here much this week as I have a sermon to get together and also have some pressing work commitments this week.

But for now I will say that voodoo differs more in that it is more concerned with cursing people. Wiccans (mostly) tend not to do this, but trad. witches will do this more readily.

You are right in saying that voodoo is more focused on spirit contact. Witches call upon spirits as instructed in their grimoires.
