The storms are vague now
Spring has welcomed me, but...

My eyes're teary, just like...
After pealing on onion.

It's been awhile. I have not seen you.
I'm missing you.

I'm here. Not alone. Spending time
With my Paper Mate. My new pen--
My companion!

No one even noticed I was gone,
Working endlessly, sometimes till dawn.

The strong storm...
Thought it'd have a 'take'
But I was not ready for the 'shake.'

I know, to look for shortcuts, some do 'dare,'
But the sign clearly states 'please beware.'

Because... from my point of view
'the road less traveled'
Is not always bad for you.

It builds character and strength
Even though it comes with the added length.
