Subject: Words Are My Brush

Painting thoughts across that canvas of my life.
When it dawned on me I was too young to understand,
Born yet so far away from the pain of being a man.
That boy in between was lost in the wonder of it all.

Joy didn't hide itself as well during those years,
When I was a baby they made me feel as if I was it.
Funny how a little innocence can bring such happiness,
Thinking now that all I really did then was to arrive.

An artist who never found self until picking up a pen,
Letting mind jump over matters that only concerned him.
This world and all those people became why I breathed,
A work of art that might take forever to describe.

Then I discovered a spirit this human could call mine,
Locked away all that time within his mortal temple.
It was within one moment I realized an eternal population,
Never again to die or to suffer from an evil called agony.
