Subject: Looking Upon This Canvas

I see blank white snow drift expressions.
My mind flames to life with one little spark,
That is all it takes to wake this imagination.
These eyes watch my hand arranging words as brain instructs.

As mere thoughts create rainbows which color my world,
I arch my body and bow in reverence for this gift given me.
To soar skyward from a sitting position is awe-inspiring,
Especially when only dreams act as the sole propellant.

To fly faster than any rocket with only a blink,
Now that tells me of the power one mind possesses.
I have seen one tear soften a hardened heart,
Long before it reached the end of cheek's path.

Seen some smiles melt even the coldest frozen anger;
My heart's been even seen embracing the cruelest agony.
Knowing to cry is to douse a consuming grief lit fire,
Bravery being just a word until facing life's endings.
