Subject: Mind Grasping Many Thoughts

Swirling them around so gently,
On that palette inside my brain.
Colorful memories dancing behind closed eyes,
Part of why I've never feared going blind.

A trillion more eyes existing within cortex,
Even a coma cannot shut them all.
I try to look without straining too hard,
Many times that surface can belie itself.

Outward expressions of love so freely given,
Trying not to ignore those real ones quite a chore.
To view everything with discretion not always feasible,
Still that memory machine allows me to back up.

Correcting a fault can sometimes bring displeasure,
Especially to one not willing to accept delivery.
Me, I'll always wait for any dream which dwells within,
For it may easily be the last one that comes my way.
