Man tripping over ego to impress opposite sex,
Woman stroking it while knowing he's no better.
Still they meet in that middle where love lives,
Breathing reason for existence into their spirits.

He loves her and will say nearly anything to prove it,
She loves him and will almost do anything to keep him.
So goes that romance more complicated than chemistry,
To bottle this formula more dangerous than nitro.

She takes him truly and forever to center of her heart,
He plays within a battlefield that might surely kill him.
So goes a fire which burns a hole in that brain of a male,
While she cools him within an embrace calming savage beast.

He loves her beyond wildest undetermined destinations,
She travels with him while clearing path he can see.
This glory which is an essence of a man and woman,
It tells us all of what was truly meant to be.
