Subject: Power That Cool Brings

Reaching for hot dreams which never happen,
So many I see sweltering in that prison.
Burning each time they lean against unsatisfied walls,
While the comforting chill of spirit's breath soothes me.

I feel strength just below the icy surface of reality,
Where promises come true only if you make them so.
Those hopes can become tattered wishes only thought of.
Does not a frigid heart slow its beat to last a bit longer?
