Subject: Embedded microchips in dogs

There is a new law that our parish is trying to pass requiring all pit bull owners to get their pets embedded with a microchip. This law is planned to take effect August 31,2005.Owners who will not comply will have their dogs impounded.There is an article regarding this matter in the August 18,2005 Westbank edition of the Times Picayune.Anyone with any advice how we can fight this please e-mail cragas1025@yahoo.com thank you.
