You still haven't really answered any of the questions.

Why is Kerry going to be any different? It seems every president has come in saying they aren't going to do any of these wars. Remember, "its the economy stupid" and "no nation building," well somewhere between the first hundred days and a couple years they all seem to go into some fight or another. Clinton was going into Somalia, and Bosnia, which everyone loved, not really. After the weapon inspectors left Iraq, Clinton sent a couple cruise missles over. Was trying to gain support in the Congress and UN to go to war, but couple weeks later the whole fiasco with Monica started. That was where "Regime change" first was coined to name our diplomacy efforts with Iraq. I guess we shouldn't fail to mention that he sent over a couple of cruise missles over the Osama's place in Afganistan. You might get a better diplomat with Kerry, but I doubt he'll get in any fewer wars or other little military dealings than Bush would. Guess it must be something with the security reports one gets almost everyday. Knowing how people want heads to roll after 9/11 and knowing it happened under your watch, it might be hard for a president to constantly know quite a few people are looking for ways to do your country harm.

Profiteering is probably going to go on regardless of a Dem or Rep. being in office. Probably the worse thing that can happen is for profiteering is to have a boom like we had. Bush had nothing to do with the dot.com bubble. During those times everyone wants to play loose with the rules and some take advantage, and we tend to find out these things during recession time. Much like a drunk having a hangover. It takes times for the systems to get back into balance. If you don't do that you end up with worse stuff like depressions. Thank you, Alan Greenspan.

Funny thing is, is I do have a brother fighting in Iraq and my sister was having trouble finding a job. Well I guess, all and all, I hope that he can help install a government that does a much better job at helping its citizens than killing them. And the president, regardless of party, really couldn't do much to help my sister find a job. What are we going to get the president to sign a bill enforcing the manufacturing sector do improve by 10%? But I guess one point of light, some store opened up in this horrible economy and she found a place hiring.

Frankly when it comes to the war or the economy I really don't care who wins. They both bring a different mixed bag, but it pretty much the same thing in the end.
