So I'm sitting here eating my "Hemp Plus Granola" and listening to my favorite liberal radio news, NPR, and it turns out Kerry is speaking to steel workers in my new backyard, Cleveland. Being in Pittsburgh now it's hard not to have learned all about the rise and fall of the US Steel empire and it's effects on the "rust belt" cities like Cleveland, Buffalo, and Pitt.

The same man who criticised Bush for wearing a flight suit is done up in steel worker's garb and talking economics to people who know their jobs are on the cutting board. He's talking about saving the US steel industry using protectionist tarrifs and encouraging consumers to buy US steel made products. Rrrrrrright. Didn't we just enact a steel tarrif? Didn't the steel industry complain that the tarrrifs actually hurt business, and didn't the entire world threaten to sue us into South America, and didn't we thus repeal them? What the hell was Kerry doing while all of this was going on only about four months ago?

Oh - here's the kicker boys and girls!! Kerry also promised to require companies to give THREE MONTHS notice before laying off workers. He may have gone to Vietnam, but Kerry slept through economics and business in college. It would be nice, you know, that much notice, but it's not possible. Kerry probably knows that too, it's just that he's so willing to lie right to the faces of the people who would elect him.

So what's he up to next? In an effort to woo Californians he is going to WALK THE PICKET LINES with Southern California grocery workers who have been on strike for some time now. These people are harassing grocery shoppers, and putting small businnesses out of business (are you going to shop at the flower shop next door to the grocery if it means being harassed by hundreds of upset Democrats?) Kerry walks with these damn communists tommorow.

Go ahead, fly your true colors, vote Kerry.
