I have been a keen follower of the rams over the past 6 years & to be honest the Clive is a well meaning heart of gold bloke, unfortunetly he likes a drink (like most of us) but seems to do it at the wrong time. He means well but sometimes gets out of his pram for silly reasons. I dont think the club has a future with the likes of him, he is old school when Croydon Athletic was just a small kick about club. If the club is to go forward it should take up some of the ideas from the managers of the kids teams, they seem to have some great ideas & are well respected from other clubs. Croydon Athletic was a club to be part of last year but it seems it is on a slippery slope down now. Clive plays a major part at the club but perhaps in the wrong position. It is time the board started moving forwards instead of sticking with the old school. If we get through this year ok, what are we going to do next year, or will we cross that bridge when we come to it ? I suggest we look forward & deal with it NOW.
