Condolences to the family and friends of former Miss North Shore Milwaukee 1965, Marcia Kathryn Jensen Bowman, who died on Sunday, June 20, 2021 in Portage, Wisconsin after a brief illness.

While Marcia's paid obituary is brief, she had long list of awards for her art work, State Fair talent show piano and art crafts, as well as her high school and college years of opera and piano before even winning the regional Miss North Shore pageant, in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.

Had she won Miss Wisconsin in 1965, Marcia would have became the third consecutive Miss North Shore to win the state crown---after Barbara Jean Bonville in 1963 and Angela Gina Baldi in 1964 (that local pageant continued until 1989, however skipping 1968 to 1981, returning in 1982 until 1989):
