Subject: Door County pageant winners

Congratulations to University of Minnesota-Twin Cities sophomore Chloe Staudenmaier who was chosen last night (Saturday, February 5, 2022) as Miss Door County 2022, while Sturgeon Bay High School junior Claire Bohn was named Miss Door County's Outstanding Teen 2022.

The longtime running local pageants were held at the Southern Door High School's auditorium in Brussels where they celebrated 25 years of pageantry, despite the fact there had been Miss Door County winners competing at Miss Wisconsin in the early 1950s.

Good luck to both of these newly-selected pageant title-winners this June when they will compete in their state pageants in Oshkosh. No Miss Door County or Miss Door County's Outstanding Teen winner has ever won the state crown.

  - They most certainly did. They crowned two teens -- Miss Green Bay's Outstanding Teen -- and Miss Titletown's Outstanding Teen., 18:31:09 02/08/22 Tue

From the video of the crowning that was posted on the MAO forum, -- it looks like they had a good crowd for this., 10:53:29 02/07/22 Mon
