Happy belated (by one day) birthday greetings to Wisconsin's two former Miss America winners, Terry Anne Meeuwsen (1973) and Laura Marie Kaeppeler (2012).

In an interesting coincidence, both of Wisconsin's Miss America winners share a March 2nd birthday--and each were brunette vocalists who won preliminary talent awards at their state and national pageants.

Happy birthday Terry and Laura. And for those who don't realize, this year marks the 50th year anniversary of Terry winning the 1972 Miss Wisconsin and then 1973 Miss America titles, and the tenth year anniversary of Laura winning Miss America in January 2012. So, happy birthday AND happy anniversary to both of our beloved former pageant winners.
