Subject: Alice in Dairyland 2022


Congratulations to the six finalists announced today by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture who will interview and compete for the job of Alice in Dairyland 2022. See the finalists featured here who were named today, Friday, March 11, 2022 in Madison:

The next Alice in Dairyland will be chosen and crowned on Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Madison, during their so-called 75th year Alice in Dairyland anniversary celebration. But its not the 75th year as while it began in 1948, there was no Alice finals held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 health pandemic. Julia Christine Nunes of Chippewa Falls, who won the 74th Alice crown and title in May 2019, served for two years.

Entrant Taylor Paige Schaefer of Franklin is the odd-on favorite to win followed by Amber Cafferty of Fountain City. Good luck to all six finalists and congratulations to Julia
