Subject: Remembering Patricia Wuerger


Condolences to the family and friends of Patricia A. (Dinneen) Wuerger, who passed away at age 90 on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation Center in Appleton.

Pat was one of those women who helped make the pageant be a smooth running operation, and also for the newly-crowned Miss Wisconsin of the 1960s and 1970s during her year of service.

She became involved in the Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Pageant, acting as a chaperone to Miss Madison and Miss Wisconsin. She also served as "house mother" for the Miss Wisconsin contestants in the 1960s and 1970s during pageant week in Oshkosh; and she judged a number of local pageants throughout Wisconsin.

Of course, as usual, the current Miss Wisconsin state board will totally ignore Patricia's passing without so much as a Miss Wisconsin "In Memoriam" tribune or Wisconsin Facebook posting.
